Corporate Social Responsibility

When we say we’re going to make an impact, we really mean it. For our clients, and for our communities, too. Social responsibility is one of our core values. Discover how we’re giving back to the communities where we live and work.

The West Monroe Social Responsibility Approach

Every company talks about being committed to corporate social responsibility. At West Monroe, social responsibility is not just talk. We are grateful for the opportunities we’ve been granted, and feel we have an obligation to give back. By bringing together our talent, experience, and resources, we believe that we can make a real, measurable difference. Our approach combines community focused, large-scale programs with grassroots, employee-led efforts to support the causes most important to both our people and our communities. As a 100% employee-owned firm, there’s no tax benefit for our financial contributions – we do it because it’s the right thing to do.

Here’s How We Do It

  • Dollars for Doers

We encourage employees to volunteer for causes that they care about – and we provide funds that employees can allocate annually to the charity of their choice as an incentive. In 2019, our people volunteered 6,892 hours.

Building stronger communities: National Day of Service

We believe in the power of service to help organizations fulfill their mission. Each year, we take time from serving clients to dedicate our entire workforce to volunteer in one united effort in the communities where we live and work. In 2019, 1,044 employees dedicated 6,200 hours during National Day of Service.

The result? Partnering in our communities to enable powerful change.

Our sustainability journey starts at home. We look at our individual and collective action as an opportunity to work toward sustainable solutions. Our cross-functional Sustainability Team gives passionate employees a chance to make their voices heard and apply their skills. They create educational and volunteer opportunities, as well as measure and find ways to improve West Monroe’s environmental impact, which informs educational and programmatic planning. We also pursue LEED certification for all new office build-outs.
