He has a bachelor’s degree from Union College and an M.S. in operations research & industrial engineering from Brooklyn Polytechnic.
What makes John different
For more than 40 years, John has funneled his passions for engineering and problem-solving through the restoration of vintage coin-operated gambling and mechanical music devices from the early 1900s. He’s become so well-versed in these machines that he’s acted as an expert advisor to reality shows such as American Pickers and Pawn Stars when they have questions on early arcade and casino gambling machines.
Where John makes an impact
John is proud to co-chair the Inclusion and Diversity initiatives for the LA office, raising awareness and implementing pragmatic approaches to eliminating bias and empowering the West Monroe teams. He and his wife, Penny, are also active on several historical preservation groups in Monrovia, a foothill community just outside Los Angeles. The couple lovingly restored their landmarked 1906 craftsman home.
