Applying broad skills including process optimization, labor standards, and scheduling optimization, David works with retail, distribution, and manufacturing organizations to deliver productivity and operational improvements that increase gross profit.
Over the course of his career, David has led teams in optimizing associate utilization, labor scheduling, and initiative viability analyses for large global discount retailers.
David brings a calm demeanor and lighthearted approach to work, with a gift for keeping it fun even in stressful situations. He will always be the one to make sure that the quietest person in the room is heard.
Prior to joining West Monroe, David was an industrial engineer with cabinet manufacturer American Woodmark. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and is certified in Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST).
Outside of work, David enjoys traveling with his family to Wisconsin’s Door County for July 4th, catching up on his favorite Netflix shows, and watching his daughter grow up. An athlete and outdoor enthusiast, David has completed two international distance triathlons and hiked the Kalalau Trail to the Hanakapi'ai Falls in Kauai, Hawaii.
David identified duplication of labor in scheduling systems and eliminated operational inefficiencies for a retail pharmacy chain, resulting in more than $100 million in labor savings.
