With a broad industry background and more than a decade of industrial engineering experience, Alex creates value by implementing workforce optimization solutions and leading transformational operational initiatives. Team members and clients appreciate Alex’s high-quality work, his attention to detail, and his contagious enthusiasm.

Prior to joining West Monroe, Alex handled strategic initiatives for Safeway and was also a senior analyst with US Airways. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a MOST certified consultant.

What makes Alex different

Between work and being a husband and father, Alex has a full schedule. To refresh body, mind and spirit, he takes full advantage of Washington state’s majestic natural beauty. He is an avid backpacker, mountaineer, and hiker. He and his wife enjoy traveling and staying fit and active.

Engineering means a lot to Alex. Serving as vice president of the board of the Institute of Industrial & System Engineers, Puget Sound Chapter, creates an opportunity for Alex to give back to the industry and engage with his peers.
