MINNEAPOLIS – West Monroe, a national business and technology consultancy, has been named one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune for the second consecutive year. The Top 150 Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on a survey of employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction.

“Being named a Top 150 Workplace for the second year in a row is huge accomplishment for our people,” said Tom Ewers, managing director and leader of West Monroe’s Minneapolis office.

As a firm whose mission is centered on building the next generation of leaders, the employee experience of our workplace is key. This award celebrates the environment that we’re collectively proud of, the investment in culture that we made together to get here, and the commitment to become a better organization every day. We know this will continue to help us attract and retain the best and brightest talent in Minnesota.

West Monroe’s Minneapolis office opened in 2013 and has grown exponentially, most recently doubling its team in October 2019 through the acquisition of Minneapolis-based digital product studio, GoKart Labs. To allow for steady growth, West Monroe relocated to a new office at The Nordic in April 2020, which has more than two times the space of West Monroe’s previous footprint. Its consulting team serves dozens of clients in the Twin Cities area and surrounding region in healthcare, consumer and industrial products, and other industries.

Like all West Monroe offices, the Minneapolis office is committed to supporting and empowering its employees through various inclusion and diversity initiatives, frequent volunteering opportunities, numerous recognition programs, and an abundance of team-building events.

This is the 11th year the Star Tribune, in partnership with Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, has published Minnesota’s Top Workplaces. To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota.
