Chicago Tribune Top Places to Work

West Monroe has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Chicago Tribune. The report ranked West Monroe 9th among mid-sized companies. West Monroe was one of 150 employers recognized in the annual workplace report, a combined effort between the Chicago Tribune and its partner, Energage, which surveys employees to measure several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“Being recognized as a top place to work in Chicago for the 11th time is an incredible honor for our organization. This has been a challenging year for all of us, but I’m proud of the way the firm prioritized the health and safety of our people while also finding creative ways to stay virtually connected and to give back to the Chicago community.” said Tom Hulsebosch, West Monroe’s Chicago office leader.

This award reflects our mission of building next generation of leaders and our people-first culture.

West Monroe was founded in Chicago in 2002. To accommodate extraordinary growth, West Monroe announced the decision to move its Chicago office and headquarters in the Fall of 2020. The Chicago office includes a rapidly growing team of business consultants and deep technologists that serves clients in key industries, including healthcare and life sciences, financial services, energy and utilities, consumer and industrial products, and private equity. The firm’s corporate headquarters is also home to a vast majority of the firm’s Shared Services teams that span finance, marketing, operations, legal, HR, and more.

Like all West Monroe places of work, our Chicago office is committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. In Chicago, the firm and its employees support dozens of local charities through board appointments and monetary contributions, including Community Health, Lakeview Pantry, HFS Chicago Scholars, Spark, Chicago Scholars, Springboard Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity.

The rankings were revealed at a virtual awards ceremony on October 29, and The Chicago Tribune published the complete list of Top Workplaces in a special edition published on October 31.
