Carolyne Kama is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. She has nearly a decade of experience working with healthcare payers to enable growth through a combination of business process design and technology.
Carolyne Kama partners with healthcare payers to identify standard operating procedures, operating models, and new business processes that foster institutional change. She specializes in business process re-design, synthesizing both qualitative and quantitative data points to develop actionable recommendations and strategies for her clients.
Leveraging her healthcare sales operations experience, Carolyne helps clients define go-to-market agent adoption strategies and implement solutions that advance their digital transformation imperatives. She has experience working with health plan organizations to improve their individual and group marketing, sales, and service experience, such as delivering a quote-to-card capability for consumers that is simple, flexible, responsive, and compliant with healthcare reform regulations. She also has federal and state health exchange experience, including defining business operating models, open enrollment roadmaps, and IT product assessments and vendor strategies.
Carolyne joined West Monroe in 2019 from Cognizant, where she was an associate director. Her responsibilities included leading CRM digital Salesforce consumerism strategy to optimize existing capabilities and processes for healthcare payers across the marketing and sales business functions.
Previously, Carolyne was a business architect and manager with Accenture, specializing in working with healthcare payers as well as federal and state-based health insurance exchanges.
