Andy Johnson assists clients through all stages of the merger and acquisition lifecycle, from assessing potential private equity targets to leading cross-functional separation and integration management offices for companies with global footprints. His core skills and experience include IT and operations due diligence and synergy modeling, operating model design, ERP implementation, and complex integration and separation execution.
Andy has worked with organizations in many industries, including manufacturing and distribution, life sciences, medical devices, consumer packaged goods, insurance, media, field services, retail, and private equity. For example, he led the separation management offices for carve outs involving the field services unit of a global industrial products company and global apparel manufacturer and retailer from its parent company. He also managed a team responsible for IT integration and cross-functional change management and training for the merger of two national services organizations and developed the operational framework for integrating two global publishing firms into a joint venture.
Andy joined West Monroe Partners in 2014 from Deloitte Consulting, where he was a senior consultant in the Strategy & Operations practice, aligned with the Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He worked across industries managing complex separations and integrations. Previously, Andy spent three years in Accenture’s SAP practice managing and implementing SAP modules across various industries and sectors.Andy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Master of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Strategy and Accounting from the University of Michigan.
