David Chaddock is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Chicago Technology practice, specializing in security and infrastructure services for the healthcare and life sciences industry. He has more than 20 years of business and IT consulting experience focused on information security and business intelligence.
David Chaddock partners with companies in the healthcare and life sciences industry to define cybersecurity strategy, implement new initiatives, and manage ongoing operations teams – striving to leave everything better than he found it. He also currently serves as the interim chief information security officer (CISO) for an innovative health information company dedicated to empowering healthier living through genomic data analysis.
David has a passion for security, recognizing the important role it plays in today’s business operations. He takes great pride in serving as a change agent who helps clients achieve their visions. He has worked with numerous organizations to protect sensitive data and intellectual property and to adhere to industry or regulatory standards and frameworks, including HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, NIST, FISMA, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9000, C2M2, CMMI, PCI DSS, and SOX. His broad core experience and skills include security strategy and transformation, security and compliance assessments and remediation, policy and procedures design, process design, security operations center management, vendor management, and secure web gateway implementation. He has led numerous security strategy and roadmap projects and IT due diligence assessments.
While he works primarily with healthcare and life sciences organizations today, David’s experience spans many industries, including the government and military, high tech, energy and utilities, insurance, manufacturing and distribution, retail, and hospitality sectors. He is an accomplished project leader with a track record for delivering complex new initiatives and operations teams for global organizations; for example, security operations center capabilities for a Fortune Global 500 company supporting 325,000 employees across 85 countries.
David joined West Monroe in 2015 from Accenture, where he spent nearly 20 years as an information security consultant.
David attended DePaul University.
