Joe Anderson is a recognized leader in the area of cloud/virtual computing and data center consolidation initiatives, with deep experience assessing and implementing large-scale deployments of virtual platforms. He works with both senior business leaders and IT teams to understand and execute on the value proposition of cloud services.
Joe’s expertise spans all major cloud-related technologies, including vCloud, vRealize Automation Center (VRA/vCAC), VCE vBlock, Cisco UCS, Puppet, EMC, BMC Cloud Lifecycle Manager (CLM), AWS, Azure, and Cisco VCXD. He has architected proprietary solutions, including a proven software defined network (SDN) stack to allow customers to seamlessly extend their environment into the cloud.
Over the course of his career, Joe has gained extensive experience running and developing institutional practices for large corporations and consulting firms. His industry experience spans the energy, financial services, public, commercial services, and other sectors.
Joe joined West Monroe in 2017 from NTT Data Inc., where he was director of cloud architecture. As the lead cloud architect, he was responsible for developing and delivering the firm’s multi-tenant cloud solution. He worked with partners to create a state-of-the-art cloud platform that could be leveraged in both a virtual private cloud and an on-premise private cloud solution. He also designed the firm’s DR as a service (DRaaS) capability.
Previously, Joe was a senior architect of virtualization with Markit. He also was a senior consultant with BearingPoint/NICUSA, specializing in virtualization solutions. Joe began his career as a Microsoft engineer.
Joe holds numerous Microsoft and VMware certifications, as well as ITIL Foundation certification.
