West Monroe again named to Crain’s annual list of Best Places to Work in New York City

West Monroe, a national business and technology consulting firm, has once again been recognized as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New York City by Crain’s. The firm ranked 46 among 100 companies in the large businesses category. This is West Monroe’s seventh consecutive appearance on the list.

West Monroe, a national business and technology consulting firm, has once again been recognized as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New York City by Crain’s.

“We’re extremely proud to be once again named a Best Place to Work by Crain’s New York, a testament to our ‘People First’ value and focus, especially while we’re experiencing continued rapid growth,” said Gil Mermelstein, managing partner and West Monroe’s East Coast Region and New York leader.

We are more committed than ever to nurture our collaborative culture and our commitment to providing meaningful careers and growth opportunities as we shift toward a hybrid model of in-office and remote work, while serving our clients and the New York community.

West Monroe’s New York City office has more than 180 employees and serves clients across the Northeast in key industries, including private equity, financial services, energy and utilities, healthcare, and life sciences. To accommodate for anticipated growth to 750 employees by 2025, the New York office moved into a new space last year at Worldwide Plaza effectively quadrupling the firm’s local real estate footprint.

Like all West Monroe offices, the New York office is committed to supporting and empowering its employees through various inclusion and diversity initiatives, maintaining a highly collaborative culture, a strong commitment to serving the local community, and regular recognition programs. In July 2021, West Monroe ranked No. 4 on Fortune’s Best Workplaces in New York.

To be eligible for the Crain’s ranking, businesses must employ 25 or more workers within the five boroughs. To assemble the data, Best Companies Group and Crain’s dispatched surveys to more than 20,000 local employees. Each worker answered a confidential survey, covering topics such as working conditions, benefits, and corporate culture. The results were evaluated alongside responses from a separate survey completed by employers. Results from the employee survey made up 75% of the total score; the answers from employers constituted 25%. The companies recognized span a range of industries, including accounting, engineering, finance, law, and technology.

Crain’s recognized the winning companies and unveiled final rankings at a virtual event on September 23. A complete list of companies selected is available online and in the December print edition Crain’s New York Business.
