“It is truly outstanding to once again be included among the top places to work in all of New York City,” said New York office lead and Managing Partner Gil Mermelstein.

This ranking and recognition are the result of feedback from all our people, which is a true testament to West Monroe’s people-first culture, employee ownership, and leadership opportunities. As we continue to enjoy rapid growth, we strive to make our New York office a place to build an impactful career serving our clients and the New York Community.

West Monroe’s New York City office has more than 270 employees and serves clients across the Northeast in key industries, including private equity, financial services, energy and utilities, healthcare, and life sciences.

Like all West Monroe offices, the New York office is committed to supporting and empowering its employees through various inclusion and diversity initiatives, maintaining a highly collaborative culture, a strong commitment to serving the local community, and regular recognition programs.

To be eligible for the Crain’s ranking, businesses must employ 25 or more workers within the five boroughs. To assemble the data, Best Companies Group and Crain’s dispatched surveys to more than 20,000 local employees. Each worker answered a confidential survey, covering topics such as working conditions, benefits, and corporate culture. The results were evaluated alongside responses from a separate survey completed by employers. Results from the employee survey made up 75% of the total score; the answers from employers constituted 25%. The companies recognized span a range of industries, including accounting, engineering, finance, law, and technology.

Crain’s recognized the winning companies and unveiled final rankings at an event on September 29 in New York City.
