Kyle Hutchins is a senior director of Customer Experience at West Monroe Partners based in the Seattle office. He believes a well-executed customer experience strategy is paramount to market differentiation, ultimately leading to higher customer loyalty and profitability. He has spent 15 years advising clients in both a management consulting, and digital agency capacity—applying a strong blend of business and technology acumen to deliver innovative business solutions that create advantage through superior customer experience.


Partnering with senior executives, Kyle has a track record of “in-market” results for world class brands that reshaped their business. Kyle believes that only through the managed confluence of committed leadership, consumer insight, ideas rooted in a compelling brand promise, and employee engagement can great customer experiences be achieved. He has researched, designed and implemented transformative programs with reaching results and systemic change.

A fluent mediator, Kyle is able to balance and rationalize the often conflicting priorities among sales, marketing, IT, service and product development. He has proven expertise in consumer oriented businesses – banking, telecommunications, insurance, retail, and consumer packaged goods – using design thinking principles to drive change and results.

Before joining West Monroe Partners in 2010, Kyle held the title of partner, director of strategy at Ascentium. During his time at Ascentium, he crafted and implemented comprehensive customer experience plans that integrate brand, user experience and technology to achieve consistent customer interaction across channels (web, mobile, retail, call center, kiosk); architected paid search, viral campaigns and social applications for clients to burgeon brand awareness and conversions; managed commerce solutions; and led strategic acquisition planning efforts.

Kyle earned a degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington in Seattle, received post graduate accreditation in Strategic Marketing from the University of Chicago and studied internationally at Université Paris Sorbonne. Kyle has a family full of girls, and as such enjoys guitar, fresh air and craft distilling.
