While taking a hiatus from West Monroe Partners to pursue a start-up opportunity, Erik co-founded a social media software company based in Chicago, where he served as chief technology officer and was responsible for all product development and engineering as the organization evolved through two distinct business models over an 18-month period. Erik began his career at two Big 5 professional services firms.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Information Systems) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was accepted into the innovative Technology and Management program. He lives in Wilmette with his wife and three children and enjoys spending as much time as he can with them (while finding the occasional spare moment to play guitar and piano).
