Penny’s curious nature helps her understand complex problems and distill them into components. She has worked within and consulted for firms ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies across multiple industries. She defined an information management strategy that is projected to move $6 million of annual labor cost from non-value-added activity to value-added decision making and analysis to drive revenue and productivity enhancements.
An enthusiastic storyteller, Penny likes to make people laugh. Her diverse background has refined her understanding of the importance of culture when defining and delivering client solutions.
Penny joined West Monroe in 2018 from Pariveda Solutions, where she was a vice president responsible for growing the business by delighting customers and developing people. She has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University.
What makes Penny different
Penny lives in a town northwest of Chicago on six acres with her husband, her horse, and a cuddly dog. The space gives her the grounding she treasures: When she needs to get away from work, she can watch the wildlife and listen to the birds that live around her home. She and her husband also have two adult children.
Where Penny makes an impact
Penny is passionate about telling stories, particularly with data. She is also passionate about inclusion and diversity, with a special interest in encouraging women in technology. Her goal is to have West Monroe present on stage at the Grace Hopper Celebration, the world’s largest gathering of women technologists.
