Melissa thrives on quickly crafting creative and unique tech solutions for her clients. She recently completed a threat hunt in 17 portfolio companies in three months.
And while she takes her deadlines seriously, Melissa always brings humor, kindness, and perspective to everything she does. A dedicated member of the West Monroe outreach team, she approaches everything she does with enthusiasm.
Melissa joined West Monroe in 2019 after a wide and varied career that included a role as the director for legislative affairs with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and two master’s degrees from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and the London School of Economics and Political Science, respectively.
What makes Melissa different
Melissa has lived and worked all over the world, including stints in Buenos Aires, London, New Delhi, and Tel Aviv, before returning to her beloved hometown of Chicago. She now lives with her family on the north side of the city. Melissa is deeply passionate about athletics, both as a triathlete and as a soccer mom for her two children.
Where Melissa makes an impact
Melissa is deeply invested in helping young women achieve their goals. She volunteers with Step Up Women’s Network, providing mentorship to teen girls in Chicago Public Schools, and hopes to inspire the next generation of professional women.
