When back-office technology transformation is at its most complex, clients rely on Marc to deliver the value they are expecting. He has a long track record for leading challenging, time-sensitive initiatives – for example, technology and operating model transformation engagements  for Fortune 100 clients and large private equity carve-outs in the consumer business, travel, life sciences and aerospace and defense sectors – that often produce savings in excess of $100 million and returns that are many times greater than the consulting fees. 

His ability to combine top-down strategy based on domain expertise and experience with bottom-up analysis of a client’s specific situation enables him to turn the “art of the possible” into the “truly achievable.”

He has successfully led technology and business process transformation, ERP strategy and selection, and system integrator selection projects across North America, Asia and Eastern Europe. 

He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a managing director. Previously, he was a manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Supply Chain practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Bentley College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

What makes Marc different

While he comes equipped with proven approaches, he also recognizes that these situations don’t lend themselves to a one-size-fits-all solution. He and his teams speak with each stakeholder, work to align objectives, and then deliver outcomes that reflect the business’s unique needs rather than a theoretical model that only looks good on paper. 

Outside of work, he enjoys mastering the art of BBQ grilling. His family, including three boys, takes full advantage of the area’s local biking and hiking trails and abundance of museums that can fill every weekend – and then some. He once spent six months on stage as an improv comedian.

He strives to bring logic and structure to ambiguous situations. He makes it a point to ensure his team clearly understands the client’s situation and the approach taken – not only because it leads to superior results but also accelerates consultants’ development. And he believes that success is not measured at the end of a project but rather through long-term satisfaction with the recommendations and results.
