Whether he’s advising clients on cultural impacts of an M&A transaction or harnessing technology to transform their HR function, David is committed to aligning workforce practices with his client’s strategy to increase the value created by HR.  

David is a managing partner in West Monroe’s Human Capital Management practice. He has a long track record of advising companies on organizational design, human capital management, and human resources operations.  

An experienced advisor and business leader, David has a unique blend of expertise leading consulting businesses, client relationships, and client engagements. He has worked globally and domestically with both public and privately-held organizations of all sizes. 

David joined West Monroe from Mercer, where he was a senior partner and Americas Leader and Global Chief Operating Officer for the Multinational Client Group. He held various practice and office/regional leadership roles over the course of 27 years with the organization, while also advising and overseeing services for several of their largest global and domestic clients.  

David has a bachelor’s degree in Policy and Management from Dickinson College and a master’s degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the George Washington University. 

What makes David different

David is an amateur military historian. He co-authored a book published by Casemate Publishers entitled, The Fighting 30th Division. He is also associate producer for the Emmy award winning historical documentary Searching for Augusta, which aired on PBS, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Where David makes an impact

David currently serves as board trustee and CEO Performance Committee chair for the Institute for Study Abroad, a leading provider of study abroad education services. David is also a volunteer and former board chairman for the March of Dimes in both Virginia and Texas.
