Business Development Executive Consumer & Industrial Products Dallas

LinkedIn

David has a passion for solving problems and delivering tangible impact. He’s done that across many industries – particularly in the consumer and industrial products sector. For example, he partnered with senior leaders of an oil specialty products company to redesign the operating model and optimize the company’s end-to-end supply chain, producing over $100 million in annual savings. For a leading telecommunications provider, he transformed ordering, provisioning, and installation of services, improving customer delivery time by 30%. And for a power generation company, he streamlined the back-office efficiency and effectiveness of a $500 million business segment in 13 countries across Asia, Europe, and Australia. By implementing a new ERP system and redesigning critical processes leveraging shared services, he reduced back-office redundancy by 70%.

His diverse experience ranges from supply chain optimization and operational transformation to business integration, process innovation, and research and development.

Prior to joining West Monroe, he previously spent 12 years in industry before working in consulting roles with Accenture and IBM Global Business Services. He also owned and operated DC Squared Consulting Services. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

What makes David different

When he has the time, he likes to boat on the lake near his home or ski in the mountains of Utah. He also enjoys golf.

An inventor at heart, he holds two patents for technology applications in the freight rail industry. He has also earned awards for development of new methods for vacuum envelope and housing fabrication and design, as well as for project engineering and deployment leadership.

Where David makes an impact

He takes great pride in developing his teams and helping colleagues position themselves for success and career growth. Outside of work, he has built houses for Habitat for Humanity.
