Senior Manager Energy & Utilities Dallas

LinkedIn

Daniel knows what it takes to navigate complex utility transformation and deliver measurable value. He built and sold a fixed-wireless broadband company and then continued to work with the acquiring company to acquire and merge the operations of 50+ wireless ISPs and modernize all customer-facing activities. This work enabled the company to increase EBITDA, grow its network capacity by 10 times, and triple its reach to more than 185,000 subscribers across 12 states.

His breadth of experience equips him to assist utilities with the many facets of transformation, including strategy, technology, engineering, business case development, broadband feasibility studies, and implementation of networks to meet new business needs – even in the most complex situations. For a large investor-owned utility, he led the program management office for fiber and microwave deployment projects to connect new substations, replace leased dark fiber, and connect large distributed energy resource systems.

He approaches opportunities from a big-picture, architectural perspective – focusing on the “why” and “how” and the interdependencies in order to create practical, achievable solutions.

Daniel is an entrepreneur and consultant whose career included 13 years with Accenture. He earned degrees in management information systems/services and accounting from Abilene Christian University.
