When it comes to IT strategy and transformation, few have seen the art of the possible to the degree Craig has. For nearly 40 years, he has guided companies through the journey from multiple sides of the deal – as a corporate executive, external consultant, and outsourcing service advisor – all the way to tangible results. For example, he led critical IT infrastructure and applications services initiatives for the largest divestiture in corporate history, creating two $60 billion technology companies. And he recently sourced and deployed solutions for more than $13.5 billion per year in spend for contingent talent, saving clients up to 27% on average in year one and up to 10% in subsequent years.

His practical know-how stems from the diversity of his career. He has been a buyer, software developer, chief information officer, consumer of advisory/consulting services, early adopter of IT outsourcing, and Big 4 systems integrator for ERP and CRM solutions (including offshore delivery capability). Today, he applies that cumulative experience to guide complex IT strategy, talent management, strategic sourcing, and IT operational excellence, both domestically and internationally.

He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a managing director. Previously, he was the CIO and vice president of portfolio management for a $1 billion financial services firm, responsible for IT operations and integration with many major US banks, and a senior manager with Deloitte Consulting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom.

What makes Craig different

In one three-week period of 2017, Craig flew around the world 1.5 times to meet client needs. A global citizen in his personal life as well, he enjoys time with his three daughters and two grandchildren, visiting family in the United Kingdom, cycling, and sampling fine single malt whiskies. He has a second home in the Miraflores district of Lima, Peru, with the Huaca Pucilana pyramid at the end of the street.

Where Craig makes an impact

While he brings know-how, planning and organizational skills to every client situation, his most important ingredient for delivering great outcomes is a strong, collaborative spirit across client, consulting, and supplier teams.
