When it comes to creating, shaping, growing, and governing a consulting organization, Chuck understands what it takes to succeed. A services executive with more than 40 years of industry experience and achievement in key leadership roles, he became West Monroe’s first independent director in 2010 and served on our board until the end of 2019. 

His 34-year Arthur Andersen career evolved from auditor to management consultant, founder, and leader of Andersen’s Business Consulting practice. Over 10 years, he guided the practice from a startup to a global team of 13,000 people in 40 countries. He was also a member of Arthur Andersen’s Executive Management Team for five years and the Andersen Worldwide board for two years.  

As a consultant, Chuck focused on the telecommunications industry and worked with some of the largest companies in the United States and Asia.

What makes Chuck different

Chuck co-authored the best-selling book, Best Practices: Building Your Business with Customer-Focused Solutions. He has been a featured speaker at universities and business seminars around the world. Chuck and his wife Helen, an award-winning author, enjoy an active retirement on Sanibel Island, Florida, where he is committed to improving the quality of life in Southwest Florida by working with regional leaders on water quality and higher education issues. He most enjoys discovering Helen’s next book or art project.

Where Chuck makes an impact

Chuck is a director of Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and an active adviser to several start-ups and private businesses.  

He has been involved in many community organizations over his long career. He currently serves on the boards of the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation and Barrier Island Group for the Arts and is the chair of the City of Sanibel Planning Commission.
