John Zuk is a seasoned global executive and systems thinker adept at defining business strategies and operating models that allow companies to deliver a remarkable customer experience. He cultivates innovation at the intersection of business strategy and technology product development to design and implement differentiated customer experiences that drive sustained, profitable growth. John has led projects in the microprocessors, scientific instruments and enterprise software sectors.
Previously, John was a partner with Waterstone Management Group, a boutique management consulting firm focused on helping technology companies and their investors capitalize on disruptive growth opportunities and drive outstanding performance in subscription, services, customer success, and cloud transformation.
Prior to joining Waterstone, John was vice president of marketing and business strategy for Tanner EDA, a software provider in the semiconductor design industry. He was also a director at boutique open innovation consultancy 4iNNO, where he applied new innovation models to improve the effectiveness of nitrogen-based fertilizers for Sub-Sahara Africa.
Earlier in his career, John held management and consulting roles with IBM, including associate partner in IBM’s Business Consulting Services division. He merged his technological and operations know-how with his interest in antiques and collectibles by founding Collector Technologies, Inc. and launching abacoin.com, an internet-based virtual bourse for rare and collectible coins. He began his career as a systems engineer at Bell Laboratories.
John earned a Master of Science degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Brooklyn Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
