Dana Twomey is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Financial Services practice, based in Chicago. She has more than a decade experience working with senior executives to address their most pressing strategic and operational issues.
Dana Twomey is a highly experienced financial services consultant with substantial expertise in project management, regulatory compliance and risk, communications, and training. In particular, she possesses deep understanding of Bank Security Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance and risk mitigation.
She has led development and delivery of policy, process and procedure diagnostics and updates, and the development of technical requirements, as well as the design and implementation of training and communications programs. Dana has also used her expertise to provide banks with strategic guidance for developing road maps for complying with federal regulations, in both proactive and reactive circumstances.
Dana joined West Monroe Partners from CAST Management Consultants, where she was a director and leader of the Regulatory Compliance and Risk practice. She led the team responsible for implementing a new BSA/AML solution for a $75 billion national bank, as well as provided strategic guidance for redesigning the organization structure of the financial division of a $100 billion insurance company.
Previously, Dana was an associate with Clarium Capital Management, where she managed investor relationships and developed tools and processes to improve the firm’s processes for tracking, monitoring, and reporting investments.
Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and history from Denison University and a Master of Business Administration degree with emphasis in consulting and investments from the University of Notre Dame. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
