Bob Tantillo works with an array of manufacturing and distribution clients to develop technology-enabled solutions that improve operations and enable business goals. He helps clients navigate complex, transformational initiatives such as selecting and implementing enterprise software, re-engineering business processes, employing data analytics, and assessing and improving IT operations.
Through broad industry and consulting experience, Bob has developed a distinctive blend of business and technology expertise, including strong working knowledge of enterprise systems, forecasting and production planning, trade promotion management and optimization, warehouse and distribution systems and processes, sourcing and procurement, and product and lifecycle management.
Bob’s industry experience spans many facets of manufacturing and distribution, including food manufacturing and distribution, grocery retail, specialty product retail, manufacturing, foodservice manufacturing, convenience store manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and group purchasing distribution. He also has experience in marketing research and consumer insights.
Bob joined West Monroe Partners in 2011 from another consulting firm. He played an instrumental role in that firm’s Consumer Products Manufacturing practice, leading numerous projects focused on both IT and business process improvements and cost-savings initiatives.
Altogether, Bob has spent more than 15 years as a consultant, focusing all of his effort in various manufacturing and distribution disciplines and with a strong emphasis on consumer products companies. Previously, he spent more than 15 years in manufacturing and distribution industry leadership roles in information management, sales operations, and marketing.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Benedictine University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Dominican University.
