For more than a dozen years, Matt has built some of West Monroe’s most distinctive capabilities, fostered some of our longest client relationships, and seen first-hand the value of digital business. That’s why we appointed him head of functional practices, responsible for the consistency and collaboration among diverse practices that all play key roles in becoming digital. He continues to lead our national Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

A trusted advisor to hundreds of clients throughout his career, Matt always begins relationships by understanding how clients define value, outcomes, and success. He also believes in building personal relationships with clients, demonstrating that work and life don’t have to be mutually exclusive. That means when you partner with Matt and his team, you get results that are laser-focused on your goals – both personal and professional.

Matt is passionate about finding new opportunities for people to grow. He accomplishes this by giving people “freedom within a framework” to learn, develop and prosper. Matt is experienced in M&A transactions and value creation.

Before joining West Monroe in 2009, Matt co-founded and was the executive vice president of Five9 Technologies and started his career at Arthur Andersen. He was recognized in 2013 as a winner of the 40 under 40 at the M&A Advisor Awards. Matt has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University (Ohio).
