Deric Selchow blends financial, business, management, and technology experience to help companies innovate, collaborate, and achieve their objectives. Clients and colleagues seek Deric’s expertise and perspectives on financial system strategy, enterprise architecture, and financial planning and analysis systems. He manages projects and leads teams focused on IT strategy and transformation, financial reporting, back-office process improvement, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software selection and implementation, project health assessment, and system implementation. He also created West Monroe’s corporate financial management center of expertise.
In addition, Deric often supports West Monroe’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice by performing IT and operational diligence, merger integration assessments, carve-out planning, and post-close integration initiatives.
Over the course of his career, Deric has worked with companies in a broad range of industries, including the manufacturing and distribution, software, private equity, media, sports and entertainment, legal and professional services, and non-profit sectors.
Deric joined West Monroe Partners in 2013 from Emtec, Inc. (formerly Emerging Solutions), a Plymouth, Minnesota, consultancy. He worked with clients to improve business processes, select and upgrade enterprise software, develop project business cases, integrate data, and improve reporting.
Previously, Deric was a senior consultant with Eide Bailly Technology Consulting in Bloomington, Minnesota; a senior financial analyst with FindLaw; and a fiscal officer with the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He began his career as a senior accountant/financial analyst with American Public Media Group in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Deric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from Winona State University.
