Tom Racciatti is a director focused on value creation in West Monroe’s Operations Excellence practice, based in Minneapolis. He has broad professional experience in industry and management consulting, which he uses to advise clients on all facets of EBITDA growth, operational improvement, supply chain transformation, and the M&A lifecycle.

Applying a strong blend of leadership, industry, business, and technology experience, Tom helps clients to create value through efficiency in core operations and managing the end-to-end supply chain. He also assists strategic and financial buyers in all aspects of the M&A process from acquisition readiness and due diligence to post-close execution and operational improvement.
Tom’s path in management consulting began in 2008 when he joined the Strategy & Operations practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP after earning his MBA. Over the next five years, Tom advised an impressive list of Fortune 500 clients in banking, utilities and manufacturing and distribution on expanding into new markets, segmenting their customer sets, effectively capturing value through mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and gaining advantages through the integration of their supply chains.
Prior to business school, Tom worked in the business architecture group of an online retail portal/mutual fund manager in New York City called Stockback.com and also served as an account manager at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. Tom ultimately returned to his hometown of Minneapolis in 2005 to serve as the director of procurement and pricing for a food manufacturer, while enrolling in business school to pursue a career in professional services.
Tom’s clients include leading companies in the private equity, financial services, consumer & industrial products, oil & gas, retail, telecommunications and food & agriculture industries. Additionally, Tom brings a global perspective to his work grounded in an International Studies degree and having lived abroad in Argentina and Canada.
Tom earned his MBA from the Carlson School of Management and a BA from Trinity College. Tom also sits on the board of a non-profit organization for underserved education populations and on the alumni board of The Blake School.
