Gregory is an experienced leader with demonstrated success in the utility industry and the local community. His experience has ranged from leading regional transmission reliability and distribution hardening projects to planning strategic programs and pursuits. Gregory has a unique blend of technical and business experience that enables him to address and adapt to complex issues. In addition to project and program management, Gregory’s expertise spans across strategic and capital planning, risk management, utility regulation, change management, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement. He complements his expertise with experience in emergency management and operations.
Most recently, Gregory led a program management team for a large northeastern utility’s advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) implementation. As part of the project, he directed planning and coordination of accelerated AMI deployment throughout the city’s subway system, which enabled the utility to monitor in near real-time the reliability of its electric service to the subway.
Prior to joining West Monroe in 2017, Gregory was a senior project manager with PSE&G, where he was responsible for planning and managing electric transmission and distribution projects. He was also responsible for leading the company’s transmission growth strategy in PJM and MISO, including preparing responses to competitive transmission project solicitations and representing the company in RTO/ISO competitive transmission stakeholder groups.
Gregory also has more than 15 years of volunteer fire service experience in his hometown.
Gregory earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and is completing a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Strategy and Leadership at Rutgers Business School. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and maintains a PMI Project Management Professional Certification.
