Jerin May is a director with West Monroe Partners, responsible for developing the company’s Security and Infrastructure practice on the West Coast. He delivers a wide range of consulting services that blend business and technology expertise to help clients reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and elevate performance and competitive advantage.
Jerin May joined West Monroe Partners in 2006 and, as an early member of the Seattle office, he has helped spearhead the firm’s growth and expansion to the West Coast. He has played an instrumental role in developing many of the office’s key client relationships—investing the time necessary to understand each organization’s business opportunities, challenges, and needs. He has worked with clients from a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, high tech, media and publishing, and entertainment.
Experienced in leading complex projects and diverse teams of business consultants and deep technologists, Jerin has developed particular expertise in enabling business goals through innovative technology strategies and solutions. His areas of expertise include IT strategy and planning, aligning technology projects with business objectives, and implementing infrastructure improvements. His diverse roles have ranged from serving as the interim chief information officer for a middle-market bank to developing a detailed “playbook” on co-sourcing strategies for regulated middle-market organizations. He also has led the technology management offices for multiple mergers involving some of the country’s largest credit unions and IT organizational development efforts for a large healthcare insurance payer as it transitioned to an outsourced operating model.
Prior to joining West Monroe Partners, Jerin worked for a real estate company as the director of technology. As a member of the executive team, Jerin was responsible for leading a department focused on implementing technology and integrated systems that maintained a competitive edge. As the technology leader for a diverse commercial and residential real estate organization and operator of several ski resorts, Jerin was responsible for meeting the demands of multiple technology environments with unique business requirements.
Jerin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
