Maria Mirkovich is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Operations Excellence practice, specializing in organizational change management, corporate governance, strategy, and program management. She has more than 15 years of executive and management consulting experience in business transformation, operations, and information systems.
Maria Mirkovich has an accomplished track record for driving organizational change, operational effectiveness, and delivery excellence. An astute advisor, thought leader, and mentor, she works with clients to define direction and then lead seamless execution of key programs and projects through completion, satisfying both strategic objectives and delivery goals.
Maria facilitates change through a unique blend of business and technical expertise that includes stakeholder relationship building, resource management and coaching, organizational development and training, corporate governance, process engineering and improvement, and portfolio/program management and delivery methodologies. Her experience spans a wide array of industries, including the healthcare, life sciences, education, financial services, publishing, telecommunications, insurance, manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, and government sectors.
Maria joined West Monroe Partners in 2016 from The Knowledgent Group, a data and analytics consultancy for which she was a senior management consultant. She provided leadership for major biotech and pharmaceutical clients, with emphasis on organizational change, governance, and overall strategy.
Previously, Maria was senior director of the office of strategy management for The College Board. She provided oversight for a matrix organization of more than 100 employees and consultants for delivery of concurrent enterprise portfolio initiatives designed to enhance existing PSAT/SAT/AP programs and add new capabilities. She also held various management and client service roles for Keane, Inc. (now NTT-Data), delivering business and technology solutions for clients in a wide-range of industries.
Maria earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Master of Business Administration degree with concentration in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University. She is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an active member of Women in Technology.
