Ken Magrow is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Energy & Utilities practice. He has more than 20 years of experience helping utilities and other enterprises achieve business goals through technology-enabled solutions that apply his expertise in program management and PMO development, contact centers, wired and wireless telecommunications architecture, IT operations and strategy.
Ken combines strong business and technology experience to help utilities design and deploy field area networks and other telecommunication solutions to support distribution automation (DA), advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and other critical applications. Additionally, he’s led efforts to redesign business and IT processes that have resulted in teams being more adaptive and responsive to the ever changing customer landscape.
Prior to joining West Monroe Partners, Ken was the Program Manager of Strategic Projects at TransUnion, LLC where he directed numerous IT infrastructure and application development projects to improve business competitiveness, provide access to additional predictive credit information, and create operational efficiencies.
Ken also spent 15 years with Motorola, Inc., with responsibilities in product development, customer support and technical services for their Canopy Broadband portfolio of products. The wireless broadband portfolio served the fixed and mobile broadband needs of public safety, utility, enterprise, education, and service provider customers. Additionally, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within IT operations, consumer contact centers and corporate real estate.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Chicago. He is PMP certified through the Project Management Institute.
