Lee McVetta is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Financial Services practice, based in New York City. He has more than 15 years of experience providing consulting services to leading financial services institutions throughout the U.S.
Lee provides cross-functional leadership that help clients implement meaningful solutions that support sustainable change. His areas of focus include commercial credit process optimization, regulatory risk and compliance, organizational change management, operational controls and exception reporting, workforce optimization, and business intelligence and data visualization.
Lee’s project experience spans a broad spectrum of areas within the financial services industry including retail banking revenue management and operational risk assessments, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance program enhancement, and organizational transformation for the finance department of a leading insurance and annuities provider. Lee also provided treasury management support for a merger integration involving two top-five banks. More recently, Lee led a project to develop baseline standard operating procedures for the loan administration function of a private equity firm. He also streamlined the credit approval process for a mid-sized regional bank as part of a larger effort to build a loan origination system (LOS) implementation roadmap.
Lee joined West Monroe Partners from CAST Management Consultants, where he was a director responsible for client project delivery. He also designed data collection applications and analytical and data visualization approaches that supported a variety of initiatives.
Lee earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from James Madison University and a Master of Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
