Dhaval Moogimane is a senior advisor to private equity firms and their enterprise software portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle. He specializes in helping technology companies capitalize on emerging trends, drive growth, and transform from product-led to solutions and subscriptions businesses. He also works with clients to transform their business model to become customer focused. His clients range from Fortune 100 enterprises to growth-stage companies in the software, hardware, and services sectors.
Previously, Dhaval was a managing director with Waterstone Management Group, a boutique management consulting firm focused on helping technology companies and their investors capitalize on disruptive growth opportunities and drive outstanding performance in subscription, services, customer success, and cloud transformation.
Prior to joining Waterstone, Dhaval was an associate partner with IBM Business Consulting Services and part of the corporate development and strategy team responsible for IBM’s Services business. He led a number of large operations and IT transformation projects for clients in the electronics, consumer goods, and industrial sectors. Dhaval also played an integral role in the development and execution of IBM Services’ global accounts, solutions, and global delivery strategy. He spent two years with IBM India, where he launched and grew IBM’s global research and analytics team, managing a strategy practice that delivered engagements globally. Dhaval joined IBM via the acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he was a managing consultant in the Operations and Technology Strategy practice. He started his career with Andersen Consulting in Mumbai.
Dhaval earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Strategy from Indiana University, Bloomington and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Mumbai University.
