David McGee works with retail, distribution, and manufacturing organizations to deliver productivity and operational improvements that increase gross profit. His experience includes methodology development, process documentation, process optimization, cost modeling, labor modeling, labor standards development, and scheduling optimization and best practices.
David is an accomplished program/project manager who often guides complex retail projects that involve utilizing a baseline of engineered data and findings to validate business cases and solve key client issues. For example, over the course of his career, he has led teams that blend business consulting acumen with technology expertise to optimizing associate utilization, labor scheduling, and initiative viability analyses for large global discount retailers.
Prior to joining West Monroe in 2009, David was an industrial engineer with American Woodmark, a cabinet manufacturer. He worked on multiple Kaizen events supporting lean initiatives throughout the organization.
David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Purdue University. He is certified in Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST).
