Kim Lynch brings to her role considerable experience building effective corporate governance, ethics, legal, compliance, information security, human resources, vendor management, and other corporate functions.
One of Kim’s primary responsibilities is managing the ongoing fiduciary requirements related to West Monroe’s employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), a key element of the firm’s 100-percent employee ownership principle. She also works with West Monroe Partners’ leaders to enable targeted acquisitions that advance the firm’s strategic growth strategy, maintain a sound infrastructure, and nurture the distinctive culture that has earned many accolades across the consulting profession and in many of the firm’s key local markets.
Kim joined West Monroe Partners from Urban Partnership Bank, for which she was general counsel and secretary and a member of the Executive Management Committee charged with building and overseeing a de novo bank. Her responsibilities included oversight for the bank’s legal and compliance departments. Previously, she held similar roles with The ShoreBank Corporation/ShoreBank and R.J. O’Brien & Associates, LLC, as well as an associate general counsel role with LaSalle Bank Corporation/ABN AMRO North America, Inc. For the latter, she served as head of regulatory and corporate affairs for the North American legal department.
Kim began her career as a staff attorney for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and then as an associate in the Capital Markets, Regulatory and Finance practice of Mayer, Brown & Platt in New York.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of Chicago and a degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri.
