Neil Jain leads successful projects across the software, hardware, and telecom segments for clients that range from emerging high-growth companies to the Fortune 100. His areas of expertise include helping enterprise software companies evolve to cloud-based and subscription business models, drive post-sale customer success operations, and navigate acquisition-related diligence and integration.
Previously, Neil was a managing director with Waterstone Management Group, a boutique management consulting firm focused on helping technology companies and their investors capitalize on disruptive growth opportunities and drive outstanding performance in subscription, services, customer success, and cloud transformation.
Prior to joining Waterstone, Neil served as the director of operations for Firefly Mobile, a venture capital-funded start-up targeting the youth segment of the mobile phone market. He held profit and loss responsibility for the direct-to-consumer mobile service, including the operations and strategy of network operations, payment processing, customer care, and web channel sales. Before that, Neil was a director of corporate strategy at NAVTEQ, where he was primarily responsible for growth in three consumer-oriented segments: mobile devices, consumer electronics, and online destinations (e.g., Google Maps). Earlier in Neil’s career, he worked in the telecom vertical in the Strategy & Change practice within IBM Business Consulting Services and as a software engineer with the Cellular Infrastructure Group at Motorola.
Neil earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
