Donna Jolly is an experienced executive-level consultant who works with healthcare organizations to identify, develop, and execute strategies for supporting growth in the individual healthcare market. Her extensive healthcare background – with a blend of core skills in project/program management, strategic planning, digital and marketing strategy, operations, and information technology – enables her to guide clients through complex, consumer-driven transformation initiatives.
Most recently, Donna acted as program manager for one of the nation’s largest dental payers that sought to expand within the direct-to-consumer market. She worked closely with the company’s executive team to guide development of a strategy and associated roadmap for transforming its current business model into an individual consumer-focused model. She then provided oversight and guidance for creation of a new corporate department, including establishing a new facility; recruiting, hiring, and training more than 100 resources; and developing and modifying business processes to support enrollment, billing, and customer service.
Donna also has relevant experience with mergers and acquisitions, including providing operational, functional, and technical due diligence for transactions in the payer and provider sectors.
Donna joined West Monroe Partners in 2011 from The TriZetto Group, for which she was a product consultant responsible for implementing large-scale payer IT systems to optimize operations and workflow. Previously, she was a senior business system analyst with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City.
Donna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Executive Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She is a PMI certified Project Management Professional and also holds ITIL Foundations and Professional Academy for Healthcare Management (PAHM) certifications.
