Ken Goebel partners with private equity and strategic buyers and their leadership teams to deliver pre-close and post-close projects and transaction advisory leadership. He brings a diverse background in revenue-generating, client service, back office, and operational processes and technologies. Combined with deep experience leading complex IT projects, Ken helps guide clients through complex transformation with an eye toward value creation.
Ken has a broad range of skills that enable him to assess acquisition readiness, conduct IT and operational diligence, develop practical integration plans, manage and perform complex integration activities, and optimize operations to deliver performance improvement. His experience includes large-scale IT program management, project/portfolio management and strategic project road mapping, complex technical integrations and data management, and front- and back-office process improvement. He has extensive experience with Salesforce.com, nCino loan origination and treasury management solutions, and other leading IT platforms.
Ken joined West Monroe in 2009 after spending several years in marketing, analytics and eCommerce roles with Navigon and Tripp Light. He was a member of West Monroe’s marketing team before moving into a consulting role focused initially on customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for clients in the financial services and energy and utilities industries and then on customer experience strategy and Salesforce.com implementation project that influence the way consumers interact with his clients.
In addition to working with clients, Ken also contributes to West Monroe’s operational management – at present for the San Francisco office and the West Coast M&A practice and previously for the Chicago-based Customer Experience team.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing/Management and Speech Communication from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL
