Albert Ghafari is a senior director with West Monroe Partners and a member of the Healthcare practice. He has more than 20 years of experience providing management and information technology consulting for clients in the healthcare industry.
Albert is a proven leader in the delivery of technology-enabled business solutions for major health plans. Leveraging deep expertise in enterprise architecture, IT governance, and complex program management, he supports clients from market and opportunity assessment, through design and planning, to successful program execution and enhancement.
Albert has an accomplished track record for facilitating alignment of technology initiatives with business strategy. He works with an array of healthcare payers to drive successful solutions and tangible results in areas such as e-business, IT strategy, Program and Value Management, and core operations. His experience includes platform and process implementation and product lifecycle management, Marketing and Sales, Provider and Network Management, Claims, Customer Service, medical management, and consumer tools. His work has also included integration with Medicaid and other government programs and National population health strategy and implementation.
Albert joined West Monroe Partners in 2016 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Invoyent LLC, a healthcare business and technology consultancy for which he was a partner specializing in large-scale technology integration and enterprise transformation.
Previously, Albert was a senior manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Healthcare/Health Plan practice and an executive director of e-Business and IT strategy with The TriZetto Group. He began his career in PwC Consulting’s Healthcare e-Business and Strategic Technology practices.
Albert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of South Florida. He also completed graduate coursework in high-tech Telecom.
