Dan Fussell is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Security & Infrastructure practice, based in Seattle, Washington. He is an accomplished management consultant, program leader, and technologist with more than 10 years of experience advising clients in the healthcare and financial services industries through all stages of the merger and acquisition lifecycle.
Dan Fussell is a people-focused leader with a deep technical background in infrastructure architecture. He works with dynamic teams of technologists and business leaders to execute complex infrastructure initiatives that advance clients’ business strategies and enable organizational goals. He has extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise class infrastructure environments as part of post-merger integration and divestiture carve-out programs. He also is adept at managing infrastructure spend as part of a transaction to help the buyer realize deal synergy and optimization opportunities.
Dan is also a skilled and trusted adviser to many clients. As leader of West Monroe’s Infrastructure Strategy and Optimization group, he advises clients on aligning their technology and team capabilities with their business strategies. Dan also has provided infrastructure diligence as part of West Monroe Partners’ IT and operational due diligence for more than 150 private equity deals.
Dan joined West Monroe Partners from Avanade, where he was a consultant with the National Infrastructure Service Line, specializing in core infrastructure technology programs for enterprise clients in the healthcare, government, and high-tech sectors. During this time, he developed strong capabilities for managing technical teams as well as offshore resources for large, complex organizations.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a graduate certificate in Finance and Accounting from the University of Washington. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and an accomplished mountaineer.
