He has advised private equity firms and global technology companies on nearly 100 deals.
Adam Drake is an accomplished M&A leader with functional expertise that spans strategy development and planning, roadmap development, technology and operational assessments, due diligence, carve-out/integration planning, and carve-out/integration management. Adam has deep experience in the high-tech and healthcare sectors, having advised private equity firms and global technology companies on nearly 100 deals with transaction values up to $6B and led an enterprise-wide carve-out for a $30B consumer electronics firm.
Prior to joining West Monroe, Adam was the strategy & product lead at Founder Equity Fund, where he oversaw product management efforts across a portfolio of early-stage startups in the high-tech and healthcare sectors. While there, he also led one of the nation’s leading healthcare providers in launching 6 digital apps across 130 hospitals. He has also worked in several corporate venture capital and innovation teams, including Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Samsung’s Global Innovation Center, and Deloitte Consulting’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer. He started his career at Deloitte Consulting, developing IT enterprise roadmaps, redesigning operations, and implementing custom software solutions in the telecommunications and financial services industries.
Adam earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from Northwestern and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Illinois.
