Dan Brousseau works with executives and their teams to drive business performance by putting customers at the center of their business. Brousseau brings deep expertise in customer experience and digital transformation including strategy, governance, experience design, customer insights and measurement, and organizational change. During his career Brousseau has led hundreds of engagements in CX, market strategy, technology and innovation, as well as a number of large-scale transformation initiatives across Fortune 500, mid-market and start-up firms. His industry expertise includes banking, healthcare, energy and utilities and consumer products.
Dan joined West Monroe Partners after spending nearly five years at Forrester Research, where he was a vice president of the global Marketing and Strategy consulting practice, covering the areas of customer experience, customer insights and metrics, digital transformation, and marketing technology. He founded and led Forrester’s Customer Experience Consulting practice, which helps clients apply Forrester’s research, methods, and insights to raise customer experience performance and transform their organizations to become customer experience and digital leaders.
Prior to joining Forrester, Dan was a founder and partner with Emperia, a boutique consulting firm that helped leaders define and execute customer experience transformations. He has held principal and partner positions at Bridge Strategy Group where he headed the eBusiness practice, and Renaissance Strategy (originators of The Balanced Scorecard), and for 10 years he was a principal consultant with SRI International’s Technology and Innovation Management practice in the United States and United Kingdom. Dan headed the US subsidiary of Genuine Health, a rapid growth Canadian consumer products brand, and he headed strategic alliances for Fair Isaac (FICO), a large analytic solutions and software firm.
He is a frequent speaker, workshop facilitator, panel member, and moderator at public and client-sponsored events on customer experience.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Development from California State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from San Francisco State University.
