CHICAGO– West Monroe Partners announced that Jodi Bednar, director in the firm’s Energy & Utilities practice, has been named one of 13 “Women Leaders in Consulting” by Consulting magazine. Bednar is recognized in the client service category.
Since joining West Monroe four years ago, Jodi has helped several utility clients pursue their smart-grid and modernization visions—from strategy development through execution and operational management. Jodi’s core value is her customer-focused delivery approach. She brings a passion and genuine care every day for her clients and their best interests.
“Jodi’s ability to listen, adjust, and navigate complex environments to meet client expectations is second to none,” said Tom Hulsebosch, senior managing director and leader of the firm’s Energy & Utilities practice. “She continually demonstrates her commitment to clients by understanding their needs and works to ensure quality results.”
Jodi is a recognized leader both inside and outside West Monroe. She is a board member for the Chicago Chapter of Women in Energy, leading their mentorship programs, and at West Monroe leads the Women’s Mentoring Circle, which helps female leaders navigate their careers. She serves on the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity council and supports its employee resource groups (ERG). She is also a 2015 recipient of West Monroe’s Sequoia Award for leadership and mentoring within the firm.
“I am humbled to be recognized by Consulting Magazine as a woman leader in client service,” Bednar said. “Great client service is about the team and not an individual, and we put a lot of energy and effort into delivering outstanding service to our clients. This recognition validates that we are focusing on the right things to be effective leaders in our industry.”
Jodi was honored with a Client Service Award on Nov. 8 at Consulting magazine’s 10th annual Women Leaders in Consulting Gala Awards Dinner at the Lotte New York Palace in New York City. Consulting magazine will profile Bednar and the other “Women Leaders in Consulting” in its December 2018 issue.
