Annual survey helps food and beverage manufacturers and distributors find partners to help them improve efficiency
West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that it has made Food Logistics magazine’s FL100+ list for the second year in a row. For the past decade, the editors of Food Logistics have identified software and technology providers that help food and beverage manufacturers, foodservice distributors, and grocery retailers attain their business goals.

“Food and beverage distributors face enormous pressure to be efficient and keep costs down,” says Sean Adkins, Managing Director at West Monroe Partners. “We partner with these companies to implement engineered labor standards that are fair, accurate and consistent across all of their distribution centers while equipping them with our labor management software FLEXdls to ensure they are able to consistently improve efficiency by 25%.”

The FL100+ is comprised of software providers as well as equipment and technology companies whose products and services play a significant role in food and beverage supply chains.

“The groundswell of interest in software and technology tools affirms the value associated with investing in solutions that boost visibility in the food and beverage supply chain, enhance collaboration, improve regulatory compliance and support sustainability goals,” remarks Lara L. Sowinski, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics. “New technology-related products and services combined with better affordability are leveling the playing field for a variety of food related companies, while supporting expansion of the cold chain into developed and emerging markets alike.”

The tenth annual FL100+ list appears in the November/December 2014 issue of Food
