Join West Monroe and HHS to discuss cybersecurity guidance for the healthcare industry
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is currently developing consensus-based guidelines, best practices, and methodologies to strengthen cybersecurity in the healthcare industry and reduce cybersecurity risks for all size organizations from local clinics to regional hospital systems to large health insurance plans.

This newly produced guidance will complement existing HIPAA and NIST Cybersecurity initiatives, while providing enhanced guidance for the industry as a whole.

West Monroe Partners has been heavily involved with HHS and the task group in developing the guidelines and best practices. In collaboration with HHS, we are hosting two focus groups (one for for cybersecurity professionals and one for practitioners) to review the new guidelines and recommendations. You will have the opportunity to provide actionable input into the voluntary guidelines before they are publicly released later this year to ensure they are valuable, easy to understand and use, and scalable. You will also have the chance to discuss lessons learned and opportunities with your peers.

Please join us on August 22nd to network with the healthcare community and have a tangible impact on the future of healthcare cybersecurity. Please RSVP now, or reach out to with questions. Participation is limited to 15 for each workshop, and we will have a wait list available if we reach the max capability. Refreshments will be served and parking will be validated.
