Introducing the Center for Smart Grid Applications, Research & Technology
Please join us at the Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation of a special ribbon cutting ceremony and press conference to announce the Center for Smart Grid Applications, Research & Technology (csmart).
On September 22, 2014, The Illinois Institute of Technology in partnership with ComEd, Silver Spring Networks and West Monroe Partners, will open The Center for Smart Grid Application, Research and Technology (csmart). csmart is a lab dedicated to researching, testing and analyzing the latest smart grid technology innovations in a real-world environment.
The ribbon cutting will begin at 1:00 CT with a panel presentation immediately following. Tours and lab demonstrations will begin at 2:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
