Technology infrastructure consultants assess clients’ current business processes, define new business and technology requirements, re-engineer business processes, and develop new supporting technology solutions. They play an entrepreneurial role in the practice by contributing to development of approaches, methodologies, and solutions for client projects.
Industrial engineering consultants assess clients’ current business processes and re-engineer new processes, capabilities, and supporting technology solutions, developing particular business and technology knowledge related to labor management solutions. They conduct analyses such as time and motion studies, work measurement, and cost-benefit analyses and assist in creating engineered labor standards.
Electrical engineering consultants assess clients’ current business processes and re-engineer new processes, capabilities, and supporting technology. They analyze various solutions using different technologies and create cost summaries for each scenario. They also design and engineer communication systems and assist with building and maintaining communication networks.
During my first project, I was able to travel internationally, work hand-in-hand with the CEO and CFO at my client, and have responsibilities that many other firms don’t offer to their employees at such a young age.
