West Monroe Partners expands its Managed Services offering
To support our clients’ growing need for skilled IT resources, West Monroe Partners is expanding our Managed Services practice.
In the course of working with our clients, we often hear two questions: How can I operate my IT function more effectively? How can I ensure that I have the all of the technology skills and experience necessary to support the business?
Companies not only need sufficient resources to operate their environments today; they need to be able to develop sound strategies, recommendations, and roadmaps for scaling their IT infrastructure to facilitate business growth in the future. Many have adequate help desk and break-fix operations, but they struggle to create strong linkage between business operations and ongoing IT strategy or to develop the systems and architecture needed to support a growing business. They lack the necessary experience and expertise, and/or their more experienced resources are consumed with lower-value, routine support and maintenance tasks.
To support our clients’ growing need for skilled IT resources, West Monroe Partners is expanding our Managed Services practice to provide:
- Scheduled and on-call IT services and systems monitoring.
- Seasoned IT leadership and strategy personnel on an interim or part-time basis for organizations that lack senior IT resources.
- Deep technical skills to assist with specific projects that enable growth, reduce risk, or ensure compliance.
Mark Nelson, a member of our management team, will serve as the practice’s leader on a full-time basis. In addition, Justin Stefano, an experienced IT services management consultant, has joined West Monroe Partners as a senior manager supporting the expanded practice and helping build out the operations and delivery of our IT strategic services.
Since our inception in 2002, West Monroe Partners has provided managed services for organizations across a variety of industries, including private equity, capital markets, wealth management, professional services, and healthcare—providing both routine and proactive support for a variety of infrastructure needs. These services include help desk and user support, infrastructure support (networks, servers, printers, desktops, etc.), vendor support, and hosted solutions. By expanding and enhancing these capabilities, we are able to support a growing number of organizations that must respond to a fast-evolving environment but are limited in their ability to invest in IT staff.
