West Monroe Partners named Best Place to Work by Seattle Business Magazine

Seattle, WA – June 17, 2011 – West Monroe Partners, a full-service business and technology consultancy, announced today their Seattle office has been named “Best Large Company Headquartered Outside of Washington” by Seattle Business Magazine. Seattle Business Magazine recognizes companies throughout Washington State for outstanding employee culture, values, and benefits. The 2011 competition received the largest number of applicants in its 21 year history.

Founded in 2002, West Monroe Partners has grown to a nearly $43 million consultancy by guiding clients through projects that fundamentally transform the way they do business. West Monroe Partners caters primarily to middle-market companies that are often underserved by larger consultancies, but also works with many Fortune 500 clients. In nine years, it has established seven offices in North America; with the Seattle office founded in 2005 and nearly doubling in size over the past 12 months.

“Two of our company values are ‘People First’ and ‘Quality over Growth’. This award not only validates our employee-centric culture, but proves that a quality workplace and rapid growth do not have to be mutually exclusive.” said Tom Bolger, Managing Director and founder of the Seattle office. “We strive to create a work environment that breeds happy and productive employees, and we are thrilled to be named one of the Best Companies to Work For in Washington state.”

In addition to this most recent award, West Monroe has been included in lists of the top companies for which to work nationally by Consulting Magazine and Vault Inc.; in Chicago by Crain’s Chicago Business, the Chicago Tribune and the National Association of Business Resources.

To be considered for the Best Workplaces list, applicants must submit a formal nomination, participate in an employee satisfaction survey conducted by an independent third-party, and then be selected by a panel of judges from previously recognized workplaces throughout the state.
